Journey's Vision:
Who We Are and Where We Want to Go
We
are all on a journey and our workplace plays a major role in that journey. Here
are some of our thoughts on the subject. At Scott Western we strive to:
View ourselves as true partners helping OEM engineers solve their acoustic component design problems. We do this by providing technically advanced products of the highest quality and reliability, and by offering superb technical support. And if we don't have a solution, we'll try to suggest a competitor who may offer some other alternatives. We take our partnership role seriously.
Provide a stimulating and challenging workplace culture in which people are treated with dignity, the richness of their diversity is respected, and where colleagues feel challenged according to their abilities and rewarded for their efforts. With this approach we believe there are few limits to what an enterprise can achieve. Everyone wins, and has fun doing it.
Measure our success not by focusing solely on market share,
a J.D. Powers award, or the financial return to our investors, as convention
would dictate. Rather, we try to measure success by our total contribution to
improving the fabric of society.

This means we encourage volunteerism at the local or national level, demand
integrity not just from ourselves but those we deal with, operate our business
in an environmentally responsible manner where the spirit of the law is considered
most important, and strive to ensure that the demands of our workplace do not
encroach on the demands of maintaining a healthy and loving family life. That's
getting the priorities straight.
Lastly, when our day begins and when it ends, and no matter what kind of a day it has been, let us all remember:
